Although The Brampton Dixie Lions Reserve team is in its inaugural season it is clear
after the first two weeks of the CSL’s three week exhibition pre-season that they are
ready to make their mark on the league.
After defeating The North York Astro’s reserves 4-0 in their first game last week they
followed it up with a solid 3-1 victory over the TFC reserve squad in week two. Their
third and final official pre-season game will take place on Sunday May 10th at 5:00pm
at Esther Shiner Stadium.
A number of the reserve team players have already been called up by First Team
Coach Armando Costa and seen First division action. Both, The Brampton Lions and
Dixie Soccer Club are very encouraged by the spirit, camaraderie, progress and
goodwill shown by everyone involved in the affiliation.
